What are cookies?

The www.zambon.com website uses cookies.

Cookies are text files containing strings of letters and numbers that can be placed on the user's device by websites they visit ("first-party" cookies) or by third-party sites ("third-party cookies"). When the user visits the website again, cookies are sent back to such sites. For example, cookies are intended to streamline the analysis of web traffic or to indicate when a site or a part of it is being visited, to differentiate the site visitors to provide them with customized contents, and to help administrators to improve the website and the user experience.

By way of cookies, we cannot access other information stored in your device, although this is where cookies are downloaded. Cookies cannot upload any codes whatsoever, deliver viruses or malwares and are not harmful to the host device.

Below you can find all information about cookies installed through this website, and all the necessary information about how to manage your cookie preferences.

User Consent

When connecting for the first time to any page of www.zambon.com, the user will be displayed a brief information notice on the use of cookies.

We only use technical or equivalent cookies. We do not use tracking or profiling cookies, nor other types of active identifiers, as Beacon and Pixel or passive identifiers (e.g. fingerprinting).

To use this kind of cookies, no consent is required.

It will be anyway possible to limit the cookie activity, as specified under paragraph “How To Set Up Your Browser”.

Types of cookies we use

The use of cookies by this website owner, Zambon S.p.A., with headquarters in Bresso (MI) at Via Lillo del Duca, 10, is included in the Privacy Policy; for all the information required by Articles 13 and 14 of the Regulation EU 679/2016, click here.

When browsing on this website you may receive both cookies from this site, i.e. first-party cookies, and cookies from third parties, that may set cookies on your devices on our behalf in order to provide their services.

To allow the browsing on our site and the provision of our services, we use the so-called persistent cookies (i.e. cookies that remain in the memory until they are manually deleted by the user, or for which there is a long-term expiration date) and the so-called session cookies, which are not permanently stored on the host computer and are automatically removed by closing the browser.

The different types of cookies - with specific functions – that we use can be classified as:

STRICTLY NECESSARY (Consent is not needed to release this kind of cookies): Essential for the proper function of our website and enable the user to navigate and view contents. Any deactivation would result in malfunctions of the website.

FUNCTIONALITY (Consent is not needed to release this kind of cookies): They allow the user to make the most of the peculiarities of the site and benefit from a more comfortable navigation. If these cookies are enabled, the navigation on the site works in an ideal way; users can anyway choose not to allow the activation of these cookies on the device. In general, for example, such cookies store the language of the contents the user previously set, the selected layout or (for a limited period of time) also store the items in the shopping cart if the user closes the session before the purchase is finalized.

ANALYTICS (Consent is not needed to release this kind of cookies): They are used to collect information on how users browse our website. This information is analysed solely for statistical purposes. They are not required, but they are a major help for us because they allow us to improve our contents and services according to the specifications that derive from the statistical analysis. If these cookies are enabled, the navigation on the site works in an ideal way; users can anyway choose not to allow the activation of these cookies on the device.

Measurement Cookies (statistical, third-party)

www.zambon.com uses Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis tool that uses cookies to collect and analyse aggregated information on the browsing history of the users. Neither Zambon S.p.A. nor Google associate your IP address with other data held by them to identify the user directly.

In addition, for the utmost protection of its users’ confidentiality, the "_anonymizelp" option is applied to force the system to anonymise the last 8 digits of the user's IP address in Google Analytics. In this way the full IP address is never written on disk, making the data analysed anonymous (for further technical specifications please see the page of the Google support site here). Third parties are not allowed to combine information detected through these cookies with other information, nor to submit such information to other third parties.

The information collected is processed in order to produce reports for the administrators of www.zambon.com, who use them to verify the proper functioning of the services and, where applicable, the approval rate of the contents offered.

If you want to disable statistical cookies thus preventing Google Analytics from collecting data on your browsing, you can also download the appropriate component that you find here.

If you do not want to receive cookies, please change your options or set up your browser

Furthermore, the user can always set up the browser to stop receiving cookies. By disabling cookies, however, the site or some of its features may not work properly. To modify the use of cookies, to block or delete them on the device, simply enter the browser settings. Most browsers provide the ability to accept or reject all cookies or accept only some cookies (for example, from specific sites).

Settings of cookies may be different in each browser, even though the steps are very similar. For more details on the procedure, visit www.aboutcookies.org or see the “Help” section of your browser.
